Atlanta talk on static v dynamic typing
On February 1, 2006 I'll be speaking at the Atlanta CFUG (www.acfug.org) on static v. dynamic typing and why I think so many of us are missing the power in CFCs. So many of the "best practices" recommended for CFCs are indeed best practices -- for Java. But applying these to ColdFusion often leads to frustration and failure. If you'll be in the Atlanta area on February 1, I hope you'll join me and other developers as we re-examine CFCs.
Student Organization Guy made this comment,
I'm sure this is an old hat to you already, but it's very hard to undo years of best practice branding. That said, next time you'll be in the Dallas area come speak at the DFW CFUG! :)

The subject is new to me. I would love to read more about it. Have you posted about it in your blog?
